Em- one more thing... Do you remember the story you told me about Max & Noah on the Noah's first day of Sunday school in first grade? Well, I put that story in my speech because it is the nicest compliment I've ever gotten about Max, and don't worry no names were revealed to protect the innocent. Thank you for my inspiration and I wish I could write half as well as you!

Em - look on the bright side - at least you can make all the decisions and not have to wait for them to get back to you. And forget about the tampons & hairspray - you have bigger things on your mind! PS I'm up b/c I have too much on my mind too. Glad to hear I'm not alone...

Okay, I am usually the first to reply with some sort of sarcastic tort, however, I make no attempts at humor tonight. I am eternally grateful for all that Em has done for this event. As much as I feel like I am trying and working, I know my efforts and focus don't even come close. Thank you for all of your hard work and effort trying to make this a truly special day for Noah and the whole family. I pray that regardless of what may or may not go awry, we'll all be able to enjoy the day for Noah. I am sure it will be amazing! Thank you Emmy!

PS - I confess, hairspray and tampons was never even on my radar...

Look at it this way. You're not preparing all of the camp trunks at the same time as you are assembling the gift bags for the out-of-town guests. (We ARE getting those, right? JUST KIDDING!) The kids were both going to camp and both trunks (two different camps) had to be outside my front door on the Thursday before James' bar mitzvah. I actually gave up control over the camp trunk process and let David do the whole thing. Since both kids had a marked tendency to lose everything they went to camp with anyway, it seemed like a good decision. Somewhere, down deep, Dave and the boys know what you are doing and appreciate it. Love the Animal Planet concept. Seems way too relevant to my life, and I have no kids at home!
