Ugh FIREWORKS... Somehow we got on the Phantom Fireworks mailing list. Every June we get a catalog. It stays in out bathroom, and Paul peruses it every day like a porno mag, admiring every single page knowing that the forbidden fruit is right over the border in Pennsylvania. I don't know whether it is laziness, or thr thought of his daughter blowing her fingers off with an M-80 that keeps him in the house instead of on the road to the border every summer....

Homer: (Wiping a tear from his eye) No Lisa, we laugh because it's true.

I DO love liner notes. Amazing of you to remember! But I'm with you on Monty Python and the Stooges, although not because of the inevitable mess. It's all the poking and physical punishment.

Oh no. I always thought I was a girl. But I love Monty Python, matches, fire, candles and wax, fireworks, mentos in diet coke, expensive cars, car chases in movies and beer. Lucky I don't like the three stooges or sport otherwise I would be really worried.

You're right, they're very good at noises. Later they become skilled at cruder kinds of noises, and flames figure into this behavior as well. Sigh.

What about what I like to call "boy noises?" Boys like to make noises that imitate all of the above, like explosions and crashes, with a startling degree of accuracy.
