Kids do not just know how to look for something, they need to figure it out. Now, one would think that a cell phone would be important enough--and Noah now old enough--that he'd figured it out by now... but one gathers not! Good thing mama-sleuth is on the case! I remember being amazed to realize (after several such stories involving things like shoes and younger children) that searching for things is a learned skill.
