I was terrible at playing the drums, piano, & saxaphone, so so at sports and average in school but well liked and quite social in school and with my peers. I love the outdoors, love to play and smell the roses and have a good time. I see a lot of me in my grandson and that is a good thing. He too is a warm, sensitive human being and so cuddly.

I'm not sure having a "thing" is all it's cracked up to be...or that NOT having a "thing" should be a source of concern for parents. We're all so scheduled these days, it's easy to forget that there's real value in just being content to be with friends and family, ride one's bike, play games, or just be freaking adorable (like Chase). Those are "things" too, aren't they?

Your kids are so cute. I wonder what someone would have thought of me as a kid. What does it say about a little girl that spent alot of time up a tree? Or catching Lady Bugs and Doodle bugs? What happens when she starts to grow up and still prefers the company of bugs and trees. lol. I think I'm going outside and sit under a tree.
