Mine are still little enough that I haven’t had to purge because they’re too old for them… I can still make excuses for our favorites, but, like MemeGRL, I was going through them for a friends baby and the only ones I could part with were the ones we never liked. (They were still good, just not our favorites.)

Having T just turn 5, I’m on that precipice. On the one hand I’m loving that I’m feeling like a somewhat sane normal person again, now that we’re out of the toddler, baby stage, but they are growing so fast, I know that it’s all slipping by.

Oh, my heart hurt just reading this. Our kids are a few years behind yours so no need to purge just yet. But I was looking to see if there were any to pass on to a friend’s new baby and I just kept thinking “oh, but this is the (fill in the sentimental blank) one!”
Meanwhile, totally jealous of Ant & Bee. I used to love them and haven’t found them for my kids. You renewed my quest!

The book purge will get you every time.
I have ALL the board books and other favorites in a bin in the basement (are you surprised?). I just can’t get rid of them.
