Coming late to the party due to a catastrophic laptop issue, but I have to ask if you face the same issue when choosing what to do on date night. I always get, “whichever movie you pick is fine,” or “whatever restaurant you want,” etc., all of which MAKE ME NUTS! Just wondering…

Hey There!

Happy New Year. This reminded me of when we got our new druver’s licenses a couple of weeks ago…..after a whole day of frustration standing in lines. I showed mine to Chris and he said ‘you look dizzy’. So, I told him that that’s not what he’s supposed to say and he said ‘you look dizzy and beautiful’. Nice try.

Phil was trained well by his 3 older sisters- by this I mean, they drilled it into his head that if he didn’t…
A. Consistently compliment hair and outfit selection
B. Understand that when women say they will be ready in 10 minutes, they really mean 45 minutes
C. Demonstrate patience and forgiveness for any objects that may get hurled at him during that time of the month
…..he was never going to get any action.

Can’t wait to see your hair Em! I bet it makes your baby blues “pop”;)

At least I have a 5 yr old daughter who always notices when I get my hair cut. The best is when my completely self-centered son notices and my husband does not! Classic!

First, I can’t wait to see it. Second, I can relate. Third, I think we’re actually lucky to have husbands who don’t care about our hair. I know many women who say they could never get their hair cut short because their husband only likes long hair. To which I reply, well if he loves it long so much, make him do the styling. An hour of that and he’ll cut it off himself.
