		<description>Perfect timing. Last night was the fifth birthday party we have held for my mother since her death. (She would have been 70 yesterday.) We watch a slide show, make a cake, light candles, sing &quot;Happy Birthday,&quot; and leave her a piece of cake (kind of like cookies for Santa) when we go to bed. The cake is always gone in the morning, although this year the question of who ate it was no mystery: the dog helped herself while we were putting the kids to bed. Oops. But my mom was always sneaking treats to her dogs, so who knows - maybe she told Lucy to go ahead and do it! That&#039;s the story I&#039;m going with...</description>
