Didn’t have a car accident for over 20 years and have now had many-all backing into something in the driveway! And yes, I also have a pillbox!

I have the dated pillbox. And almost daily I forget what I walked into a room for. The only thing I seem to remember are the ridiculously large expenses that seem to be coming at me from every direction for this &!*)*+#@ home improvement project. And those, I wish I could forget.

My mom used to never be able to remember anything from her childhood, or college days, or anything basically pre-children. She would say she has too much that needs to be in her brain mothering three kids that the other stuff gets pushed out. I often would lament her amnesia but then….I had a baby. And now, I can’t remember anything pre-parenthood either. there’s only so many brain cells, and I know our kids are better for us remembering to give them the antibiotic twice a day for 10 days than me remembering to take my vitamin each morning. It’s nature’s way.

I’m right there with you, although I haven’t driven into my husband’s car yet. Most likely that’s because it’s parked in a way that eliminates that possibility. He’s a smartie!

I have a days of the week pillbox. And I am 33. I’m blaming it on my 18 month old daughter for whom shrieking is the communication tool of choice. Constant, piercing, glass shattering shrieking. ALL DAY.
