Have you ever been to Chik-fil-A? I don’t eat fast food very often, but when I do, I choose Chik-fil-A. Not just because of their house-squeezed lemonade and delicious hand-cut chicken nuggets, but because it is about the friendliest business I’ve ever frequented. I once entered a mile-long drive-through line there and was in and out in less than five minutes. They give Abra balloons. They smile and offer to “refresh” my drink. I feel as if I’m on a genteel southern plantantion. The last time I was there i said to Maikael, “Can you imagine how differently the world would look if every business operated like Chik-fil-A?” United could learn a thing or two. Because of where I live i generally fly Southwest, and they are the closest I’ve found to being the Chik-fil-A of the airline industry. I will often pay a little bit more just to fly with them, it’s such a pleasant experience.

I so feel your pain on this one. Anytime I actually take a trip & everything actually goes off without a hitch, I then fear getting hit by one of those airport shuttle buses, because it just seems too good to be true. Those airline people can break a person. I saw a grown man cry at the Delta check in. Good luck.

Oh goodness. I hope that you made your connection! Receiving poor customer service has brought me to tears on numerous occasions. For whatever reason I take it incredibly personally.
