I get the sentiment even though I’m not in the same situation. Rob thinks work should only take place “at work” so he tries to not lift a finger when at home. So last night, in the throes of a pantry moth infestation, I took everything out of the pantry, scrubbed the shelves, vacuumed and restocked while he raided the area for snacks while working on a crossword puzzle. He’s still alive, but just barely.

I can empathize on some level. I’ve been out of work for five months while Maikael toils. I think he was miffed when I took two vacations this spring to visit friends in other states.
