And I laughed at the Bataan Death March--we call it "the many-headed hydra" in our rather large extended family. You know--one person says, "I'm going for a walk around the lake" and someone else says, Can I come? I'll just run back for my sneakers, and someone else says, I'll go if someone can stay home with the napping baby, and then, wait, never mind, baby's up, I'll set up the jogging stroller, and next thing you know it's 45 minutes later and we're still coordinating to get around the lake. But I have to remember: that's flow. That's not "wasting time;" it's just being together. And that's ok too. Enjoy!
