Happy Birithday! When I was 40, people would say, “How old are you?” I started saying, “50″ and kept it up for a few years because people would say,”WOW, you look great.” However, when I hit 45 I stopped. I was worried people might actually say, “Well, Happy Birthday.” Have a great one!

I took a week off from MoB and look what I missed! You must have been so exhausted at our wedding May 22 1994! I’m very glad you and Chris and Ian were there! I just hope you didn’t need to visit the one and only bathroom while it was unavailable due to Missy pumping breast milk (with Lindsay as her accomplice!)Lindsay, you really shouldn’t have shared that story with me!

I am 47 years old. Most days I feel physically 40 years old (but like Jeanne above, in the mornings my knees are a bit stiff, I get up feeling ancient!) and emotionally 30 years old.

Happy Belated Birthday, Jennifer. I am 43 years old. Most days I feel physically 34 years old, thanks to my adult-onset athlete status of late. Emotionally, things are a bit murkier…some days it seems to depend on the direction of the wind.

Happy birthday!!

I am 32 years old. When Jackson gets all of his sleep and takes his afternoon naps, I feel somewhere around 28-30. When he doesn’t, neither do I, and so I feel more like 60. Emotionally, I feel 30ish when Jackson lets me get my rest, but when he doesn’t, I emotionally feel 16.

Happy (now belated) Birthday Jennifer! I am 46 years old and although I physically feel younger (about 30), it’s the longer recovery time for each injury that let’s me know my age. Emotionally I have to break into 3 buckets: my curiosity is still that of a 10 year old, I have the maturity of a 25 yr old and the patience level of a 70 year old (the cumulative effect of 5 kids which includes 3 almost 4 teens)!!
