I completely agree about fictional, long-form TV series! The characters are so well developed, and the writing is often first-rate. Even when I don’t love the basic storyline, the characters — and wanting to know how they’ll react to the crazy things life throws their way — keep me coming back(e.g., “Justified” and “Big Love”).

Yikes. I wouldnt classify myself as a hoarder by any means BUT I do keep stuff around dreaming of what I might do with it some day. Skinny clothes in particular. The voice is now in my head that “that day never comes”.
