And that was that. All those weeks (that turned in to years) of "Mom I don't wanna swim today" swim lessons, wet hair in cold weather...this was it. I did it. My kids can pass the swim test like it's no big deal. Goal achieved. And really--how often do you get to say THAT in parenting young kids??? Congrats on the milestone--and your great kids! We had that this summer when both boys passed the deep-end swim tests in the first week the pool was open. And that was that.
