I start a whole bunch of projects the first week they are gone. In many ways they still are. They both were messy. Messy kids, teens and as far as I know, messy adults. When they were in school or away, I loved going into their room and throwing stuff away. If they ever noticed something was missing, and ask 'Mom do you know where my 'stuff' is?'..I'd look vague, bored, busy..and ask 'where do you think YOU left it?'..since they never really remembered, it put the "responsibility" back on them, where it stuck for 30 seconds and slipped off like a new teflon pan.. they'd wander off..easily distracted.
