Actually I would like to thank all of you loyal readers for restating what I have been saying repeatedly… “It’ll be fine…people will understand and continue to support and read the blog”… You’ll also note that I did not say “relax” in front of the “It’ll be fine” line as that would get me in to trouble Oh darn… I just said it.

What would you think about teaming up with a mother of three brothers. She’s “euro-american” with one biological son and two adopted African American sons. She lives in the city and happens to be an ordained American Baptist reverend. Also a fabulous writer. Could make for an interesting dichotomy!

Speaking from personal experience, I know what a difficult thing this is. But I think your plan is an excellent one. In fact, I’ve thought about doing something similar with LiP, inviting other writers to meditate on what “life in pencil” means to them. In any event, you can count me along for the continuing journey!

Well and cleverly said, as always, Emily! I like Mothers of Brothers and Others. Did you know someone in Washington DC has the name “mothersofbrothersblog?!!” Don’t ask HER to guestwrite. However, in addition to Regis, I understand that Katie and Meredith and maybe Matt will have some extra time on their hands.

I can vouch for the fact that Emily is the perfect blog partner. Calm, cool, and completely reliable. Fun and funny to boot. You’ll love working with her!

As for me, I look forward to commiting myself full time to reading and commenting, and sleeping past 6:30 on those mornings that traditionally would have been mine to click “post.”

It was a fabulous 3 year adventure – thank you for making it happen, Em!
