The Royal Doppelgangers Of William And Catherine
           By D.K.Milgrim-Heath©2010
The 'royal' doppelgangers of William and Catherine-
Do appearances since the royal engagement news is finally in.
How many doppelgangers looking exactly like them will appear?
On both sides of the Atlantic Ocean as their wedding date grows near?
Surely it must be lots of fun really walking all about-
Looking like Catherine in their blue engagement dresses with clout!
Do doppelganger ladies wear the same sized sapphire as in Diana’s ring?
hat excellent but cheaper imitation really of the real thing????
Catherine’s smile and hairdo are easier to finalize-
Needed also is her exact twinkling eyes and her smile I surmise!
Not forgetting Prince William by looking really absolutely like him-
William having a troublesome thinning hairline that does show-
Do his doppelgangers need that for authenticity sakes also?
If William and Catherine want more extended privacy on their own-
The world will say:Is it really William and Catherine???
That’s where the doppelgangers are practical as those secrets will be theirs alone!
If William and Catherine and their doppelgangers have chances ever to meet-
That will be an interesting meeting of all really completely neat!
Doppelgangers with William and Catherine in photos smiling as twins on the same team-
What fun everyone will have in reality being it’s not a dream!

Comb-overs are a crime, as is Speedo-wearing (especially by hefty Germans).

Holy Royal Combover, Batman! They are akin to Speedo-wearers whose wives don't counsel them before leaving home. One would think that all that wealth and privilege would come with a healthy dose of self-acceptance. I hope Kate can convince her Wills not to go the way of HRH The Prince of Wales, or Mr. Trump. Prince Albert of Monaco may be an uninteresting fellow, but at least he is at peace with his male pattern baldness.

Thank you, Sarah, for the commentary on genetics and unpredictability therein. Somewhere I have a 1939 book on the subject that I could refer to, but I'm sure it's horribly out of date. It gives an example of what would happen if you mixed up the babies of a rabbi and of Hitler.

Great comment about the ears!!! As far as baldness, I don't think there is a predictor. Take my husband. His four brothers have only the slightest receding hair lines, but my poor hubby is bald as a cue ball! Both grandfathers were hairy. Other traits are very mixed up as well. He is quite tall, and has two tall brothers (all three at least 6'2") yet two brothers and the one girl are rather short. Actually, they all have different eye color, hair color, hair curliness, some are left handed some are right handed, quite the motley crew really. Once I had to stop him from going into detail about his brothers and differences with another trait. Way too much information!

Jane and Drew totally man! I mean mum..oh never mind. Re: William's receding hair line. I think he doesn't care. Every time he looks in the mirror he is thankful he got his Mother's ears, he had not noticed the hair thang. Shhhhh...

Thanks for the post Jen. I am renting them out for parties and events...birthday parties for children of Anglophiles..that sort of thing. Who would you want more at your party to help ring in the new year than Wills and Kate? ..or at a wedding reception giving a royal toast to the happy couple? (the copy just writes itself) Just got to find Jane that hat and we're off and running. Cheers!

Striking resemblance! This is a fun way of countering the royal media coverage, which is already so drearily predictable. BTW, I thought male-pattern baldness comes from the mom, who carries the gene and passes it on to her children. Has science retracted this? Hmm...I remember my mom felt guilty about this when my older brother started balding at a young age!
