Again I state my case, as I do every year... I hate the masks. Please...no more masks! Eyeliner is fine...some lipstick even... but not masks!

I hate Halloween superstores, too, mainly for the reason I hate ALL superstores: they lack soul. I've always been a fan of wandering around the thrift store until something inspires me, and building a costume out of what I find. Jimmy Kimmel was on Ellen yesterday, and he says he does a "half and half" costumes, created by thrift store crap. Like he did a chicken suit with a stovetop hat (Abraham Chicken). Pretty funny.

great - I share your pain. Can't wait til Sunday when it's all over. Most dreaded holiday of the year(if you want to call it a holiday). My son took a shoe box last night and created a "candy-holder" for trick-or-treaters. He made sure make the hole at the top of the box was small enough so each person could only take one piece. In addition, the hole was so small that they could only get out starbursts or lollipops (neither which he likes). He layered all the candy in the box and strategically placed his faves (twix and kit kats) at the bottom - hoping no one will be able to reach them. Such planning! Hope all is well.
