A Cheezits colander!! I love it! Now all you need to do is take a picture, send it to Williams Sonoma, and sell it to them for their catalog.

Hugh & Hollis are on the same wavelength. It's never a good day for him to walk - he's too tired, it's too cold, it's too sunny, it's too mild - today I suggested replacing his legs with wheels. He was not amused.

letting the kids pack their own lunches...? that would mean they'd need to get up at least 5 minutes earlier than they currently do! could that even be possible? as it is, they're generally running out the door with a bagel in hand--with their dad ready to drive the 3 blocks to school. pampered, you say?! Well, at least Colin insists on walking most days. Hollis gets a particularly indignant look... "I HAVE TO WALK??!"

As I was preparing to make lunch for my son the other day, I stood in front of the refrigerator's open door pondering what I could give him. No good answers presented themselves. Then I flashed back to what my mom used to give us when she had no good answers - processed cheese sandwiches. Even more interesting was when she ran out of lunch bags. Try being inconspicuous in the lunch room with a cheese sandwich inside a grocery bag!
