I do write daily and have THOUSANDS OF POEMS NOT PUBLISHED!
I never took photos of the biggest turkey that I ever made inmy life-I’m sorry now but at least I remember what it looked like!
All this food can be applied for any holiday feast and feast it really is!
This Year- Who Can’t Wait For Thanksgiving Day

This year- who can’t wait for Thanksgiving Day?
With delicious food and some of my favorite people as company we say!
We have to count our many blessings both big and small-
We made it again this year to celebrate with loved ones overall.
Do you have your favorite recipes yearly always that you have loved to eat-
Now health conscious –we’ve to enjoy many a new less fattening special treat!
Thinking of the love that will be shared by me and everyone so true-
With senses of humors mingled with laughter evenly spread by you.
This year’s I’m cooking the biggest turkey I’ve probably ever had to cook-
I can hardly wait to buy it but to find one I’ve to take a look!
Think turkey with natural gravy all cooking running down its sides and its top so brown-
Sitting next to potatoes being cooked carefully all around!
I’ll let someone else make the stuffing and many other goodies to digest-
Things will be delicious with big portions needed is best.
Salad to turkey w/potatoes plus usual Thanksgiving fare including coffee and desserts so will there be traditional pumpkin pie-
Just thinking of those delicious things my body just gave a sigh!
So many doggie bags will be sent home for everyone to take-
You’ll think of my love for you that week by having a cooking break!
Everyone will bring something different and lovely surprises there will be-
I’m proud to host this Thanksgiving that will be so lovely.
There’s one final thing that I’ve really must have to say –
I’m sorry that all my loved ones so far away can’t be with me on this day.

I thought it was unusual for Todd (he of first name) to weigh in. Although he does travel all the time, as do you….perhaps you’ll run into each other in some airport some day.

Todd is me Lindsay you sillies, I am not sure why my posts were under my last name. Perhaps I was in business mode. And,no, I NEVER sit on the floor at the airport no matter how long the wait.

Happy Thanksgiving! Nice to see the big kids in the kitchen. I was at the airport on Tuesday night and it was full of college kids going home for the holiday. I could tell by their willingness to sit on the floor.
