Funny, Chris's first VW was a yellow bug whose steering wheel column starting smoking once when I was driving it on the Schuylkill Expressway in the early 80s. It had to be towed and I had to hitch a ride with a male stranger who was not a psycho. Finally, I was ready to go back into the VW water. Yes, I would be happy to give Emily a test drive. I totally dig these and every time I mention it Em thinks I'm nuts for wanting a diesel...
