Great pictures. Something so peaceful about a snow day. But I hate when there's snow, but not enough snow to keep things from closing. Just enough to make things a pain in the arse. Happened in Missouri a LOT:)

I was wondering if you had power for the big game. That would be a football game that your menfolk watch while you are preening your dried-berry heart.

Thank you for liking the photo! That dried-berry heart is one of my favorite decorations which I display on our porch from Christmas to Valentines Day. The men in my life don't even notice it. Sniff.

LOVE that photo at the bottom, Jennifer. Your post reminds me of a scene in "The Gift of an Ordinary Day," where the author and her family find themselves snowed in for a day, enjoying the very simplest pleasures that life has to offer. Makes me wish for some snow! (Okay, maybe not 2+ feet, but some would be nice.)
