Hmmm...I must say I have not, but this is not to say that I WOULD not. Maybe it's because my kids are still so young? I say this because I can't imagine someone spending his free time in a house where whining and shrieking are the primary forms of communication, and dinner rarely ventures outside the confines of macaroni and cheese. Chicken fingers if I am feeling fancy. Also, does "switching" involve wearing clothes other than the ones from the "gently used" pile? Or wearing eyeliner? Because Phoebe threw mine in the toilet an hour ago. I guess my question is, can you be as sloppy-I mean comfortable- with your friends husband as you are with you own?

It's funny: I have a (male) friend. I was friends with him first, then Maikael became his friend, then his wife became our friend. On a few occasions Maikael and I would invite the dude to, say, a movie that we knew his wife didn't want to see, and he would accept...then the wife showed up. And it's not like it was even him and I going out! Obviously they weren't comfortable with it being anything other than a double date, but I wondered what was wrong with the arrangement?
