It's quite a change from my prior attic accommodations and I find myself staring out the window as finches, wrens, nuthatches, chickadees, sparrows, woodpeckers, cardinals, etc. fly in and out of view. My grandfather's well-worn Petersen's Guide is coming in handy. My productivity, on the other hand, is somewhat diminished! The only downside is the early (and I mean EARLY) morning chorus, but I'm sure we'll get used to it.
