You ABSOLUTLY disgust me….after reading this article i had to run to the bathroom in order to prevent myself from vomiting all over my computer. You need to get over yourself. And becuase I read this it actually prompted me to write an article to Wawa Corporate in support of their closing the store… Your stories about your chlildrens genatalia are disturbing also

I am amazed at the difference from 28 years ago. My father tried to put the Wawa in at the present location. Then, there were demostations against putting it there because of the unsavory clientel the Wawa would attract, and the county cancelled my father’s building permit to put in a meat market after the contract and deposit for the market had been made. What a difference 28 years make.

This reminds me of a protest that took place a few years ago at a neighboring small town to ours. The local pharmacy – which had been around FOREVER – was threatened by the proposed arrival in town of a big box Rite Aid. The townspeople rallied and created the slogan “Rite Aid, Wrong Town”. They fought long and hard and low and behold, they won. Henniker Pharmacy is still standing and remains the only pharmacy in town. Never underestimate the power of people.

You didn’t teach your kids anything useful. How about you go protest something worthwhile. God forbid Wawa closes a store that isn’t financially beneficial. Nobody would want you to have to drive an extra 90 seconds to the closest Wawa or go to the store that is replacing it that will have the exact same goods at it.

Your suburban entitlement coupled with the fact that you actually think you’re doing something special disgusts me.

What a great starter protest/rally to introduce the kids to the idea! I’m sorry I missed it. The photos and signs are awesome.
