I remember doing this when our little guy was still in the baby carrier. It was the toughest decision-making process I think we ever went through. Now, nine years later, I think about the decisions we made and wonder if they’re still the right ones! Opening Pandora’s Box the only analogy that comes to mind.

Well Jennifer, if you’ve mastered “Talledega Nights,” you and the boys are ready for Will Ferrell’s “Blades of Glory.” One of the funniest movies ever made (in the Middle School/bathroom-humor mode which I oh-so enjoy). A masterpiece!

Lindsay, we will never forget that enchanted evening at the PEI drive-in. Talledega Nights is about as opposite to Anne of Green Gables as you can get…Meanwhile you offer your boys a pretty sweet life and location, too, even though the grass may be greener over at their guardians’ home.

We were thrilled to be with you for the Talledega Nights drive in (in PEI, Canada)and pact that the youngest would not discuss this PG-13 movie on the first day of school. Good to get these things (guardians) figured out. Can you believe I documented a decision by committee for the guardianship of our children? Of course, there is a risk to your children thinking if you were gone they would be in a better place with dogs, a pool, a hot tub,a pool table and an XBox! (Please remember this if we have a suspicious death)

Believe it or not, Ken is the only person I know who HAS been to Euro Disney, but chalk that up to his ex-wife. At least you have to be in Europe to go to Euro Disney. And I’m proud to say that we saw Talledega Nights at a drive-in!! Sitting in a car, watching a fine film about cars….ah, perfection.

I’ve met Ken quite a few times, and I bet he prefers the Post to the Times, and EuroDisney to the oh-so-chic Continent itself. And I’m sure the guy enjoys NASCAR now and again. I think you and the hubby need to rent “Talledega Nights.”

Actually, Malcolm went through a wife beater stage so we lost that battle already. Parental decrees often go by the wayside, we have been humbled to learn.

What’s wrong with wife beaters and crocks? The combination throws your opponent off balance. They don’t know where you’re coming from until it’s too late. And if you do choose EuroDisney over Europe you’ll fit right in.
