What a wonderful tale! I love hearing people's life stories and can imagine what a thrill it is to read your Dad's and to have it in hand so you can always read it! My grandmother kept saying that she would do it and never did. Now she's gone and I can't tell you how much I wish she had told us her story in her own words. My mother has been saying she will write her's forever and maybe if I show her this, she will get inspired. Oh! And Happy Birthday to your Dad!! Wow! What a wonderful tale!
