I can only claim two boys at the moment, and very little ones at that, but this post made me at once excited and melancholy for the days that lie ahead where meals will resemble feasts at all-you-can-eat buffets. Thanks for giving me a glimpse into everything I have to look forward to.

I have one son who is just a year old. And I’ve heard many comments such as the one your friend offered so many years ago. And while I’m certainly not ready to consider that someday he’ll be a teenager with gangly limbs and facial hair, I do look forward to seeing how capable he’ll be come. Whether it’s pasta or pierogies or something else altogether I know he’ll surprise me, and I think that will be quite a lot of fun.

Ah! I know that flaming volcano. We went there for Chase’s b-day. THEY LOVE IT! I always leave feeling like a took a bath in fried rice. Happy Birthday Malcolm!!
