Hooray for team C+C, and especially for Chase. Helping a fellow candidate hang posters is exactly why he's a winner no matter what the vote. Mazel tov to you!

As proud as Emily and David must be,there aren't enough words to describe the joy and pride Grammy and Papa have, not in just the fact that Chase and Charlie won, but they way Chase conducted himself and the empathy he had for a follow cnadidate. What a wonderful "Kid" and what a wonderful man he will become. We love you!

I'm proud of Chase and I don't even know him. And I'm impressed not only by his gesture toward his fellow candidate, but also by his mom's taking the time to tell you. Sometimes I worry about a kid and parenting culture that feels hyper-competitive. It's nice to see kind things happening and celebrated. Enjoy the sweet taste of victory! :)

I had long forgotten my own run (and win!) for student body president in 6th grade until I read this. Thanks for reminding me. My own mother was never a very emotional person, so I don't know how she felt about the whole thing (proud, I'm sure, and relieved after all the hours she helped me making hand-made posters), so Chase is lucky to have this personal memento from you.

I love the story of helping hang the posters of an opponent. Can't imagine any adult candidates doing that, ever. Charlie and Chase have put a smile on my face this morning. Truth in advertising! And congratulations to both of them.
