TSA got more complicated recently when I started "alarming" at SFO and JFK regularly. I have a plate in my ankle, but it has been there for 4 1/2 years so I wondered if they made their machines more sensitive. Discovered it was my new bras! Just a tad more underwire was doing it! I was told it was total metal so the ankle and new bras combined put me over the limit. Now I have to remember which bras to wear on flying days since the delay can be up to 20 minutes while they find a female TSA agent to pat down my breasts! Once at JFK I asked if a guy could please do it since I was at risk of missing my plane, but the answer was "no". Yes, I feel your pain as I am now traveling nearly every week.
