If, post-graduation, you ever learn about what happened to those 1000 pencils, would you let me know? Sam has 1 more year of elementary school and the missing pencils remain the greatest mystery...
And, by the way, I like the limbo stick idea!

Well, you already know what I think. My favorite idea was the "remote control device which selects the most appropriate language to describe the graduate (kiss-up, whiner, future in re-hab guaranteed, oddly normal despite sicko parent, etc.)" That could be good fun.

Open bar would be very helpful for the following:
•If your child gave mine lice, the week before our Bar Mitzvah(!!!), I can now let everyone know and blame it on the booze…
•If your child tortured mine because he plays Guitar and not Football, I can tell him why it is soo important to his overzealous Football Dad ( who I imagine is COMPENSATING for something) and blame it on the booze…
•If the teacher, whose cell number (my son?) some child stole and then proceeded to pass out to the majority of the class so that they could all crank call him, is in ear shot I could remind him that he too was a bully and a “zero tolerance toward bullies” policy actually does extend to the adults at large, and blame it on the booze…
•If the parent that seems to volunteer for EVERY SINGLE ACTIVITY AND EVENT is present I can mention that working full time presents a challenge in attending every pizza party, bake sale, library help day, art show, book sale, lunch bunch, closet clean up and Valentine’s Party and that I have to reserve my Mom goes to school time for the really meaningful stuff and this does not make me less involved you dumb B$@#H and blame it on the booze…
•I could point out that Lilly has the biggest boobies ( like THAT’S not the elephant in the room ) in the 5th grade and blame it on the booze…
•I could mention that we still have a library book from Kindergarten somewhere in the house and I have been throwing out the reminders to return it for 5 years and blame it on the booze (* note: I will then have to blame it on all the booze from the last five years , so maybe NOT a good idea cuz of that B$@#H mentioned previously , so scratch that one)…
•I could offer free makeovers to all the Moms who have yet to get the “MOM JEANS” memo and blame it on the booze… (oh lord I would be booked for WEEKS trying to get them done!)
•I could give a FABULOUS commencement speech and do the “most likely to” awards myself and….. yeah you guessed it… BLAME IT ON THE BOOZE!!!!
But.. I would never want my kids to think that Mom’s a drinker. That must be why we have no open bar huh.
