I definately was torn this morning as my husband seemed so happy at the news and in the back of my mind I thought – two wrongs don’t make a right.

I might have been happier if he was taken into custody and had to endure jail for the rest of his life on American soil? At least this way is cheaper.

And I had to note that this happened on May 1 – May Day – the international distress call. That was also the day last year when that loon tried to blow up Times Square. And of course September 11 translates into 9/11, same as emergency phone number 911. This terrorist battle seems to include a lot of symbolism. Wait, am I sounding like a conspiracy theorist?

I feel like you read my mind, so agree with everything you said! I remember on that day, I went directly to my children’s school and took them home, I had to have them with me. I was never so scared in my life. I can only hope and pray for the peace that is so needed in this world.

I struggle with the good Christian response that says taking the life of another human being is not acceptable under any circumstances, but a significant part of me wishes they had chopped his body up in little pieces and scattered some at the World Trade Center site, in that PA field, and at the Pentagon. (And you think you’re twisted?)

And I too don’t believe this is the end of terrorism. His supporters don’t fear dying and are certain to try anything to retaliate in his name.
