I recommend that someone goes out as Ryan Howard’s swing. That’s the scariest apparition I’ve seen lately.

There’s an upside to everything. If you HAD found a billowy black robe, or DID have time for RIT dye, he probably would have ended up having to do a commercial saying,

Grey wool would put you on the Confederate side, right? I think the moral here is not to wear European surplus, period. That would be the safest course.

I just flashed back to the time I attended a winter party of the black student organizatin at college while wearing a military surplus overcoat. The swedish military. It was grey wool with crossed rifles on the collar. I looked like I had just stumbled in from a civil war re-enactment.

We have almost entirely crossed the threshold -although Malcolm is contemplating various costumes. So we still have one left in the house!

Wow — great story Jennifer. At least he didnt want to be the ghost of Harry Potter in which case you might have added a pillow case with the eyes cut out. Are your boys dressing up this year or have we finally crossed that threshold?
