Favorite banana pun follows:
This guy we know was in law school at Mizzou (University of Missouri). The professor explained a case involving a shipment of bananas that didn't arrive on time and the punishment DOLED out by the court. Our acquaintance's hand shot up: "Was this decision overturned on appeal?"

At summer camp, we would sing a song about bananas:
b-a-n-a-n-a-s (clap clap, clap)
b-a-n-a-n-a-s (clap clap, clap)
have, a, have a banana
it, will make, you constipated.
have, a, have a banana
it is yellow and it has a peal - sex appeal!

We would shout it at the top of our lungs and annoy our counselors... I"m not sure why we found it so clever. Maybe because we got to say sex appeal... it was this that started my love affair with the pun.

Add me to the list! I could tolerate bananas until my then 3yr old son ate one and it didn't stay down. Can't really even come close to one since.

If Hugh and Richard form a support group, please add my husband to their list of of banana phobic males. I find it hilarious, but that's not terribly nice of me, now is it?
