I find it's ideal having a neighbor with said swingset and trampoline. As long as they have insurance...

my kids love our swingset-it is used a lot :) after a full bottle of bug spray! Took a ride out to your house the other day-realized you are only 22 minutes from us! perhaps we will join you at your firepit!

Funny - we actually got a huge amount of use out of ours and my kids were in full time daycare. It is still standing 7 years later and in really good shape. We got the previous year's model for something around $1800 and put it up ourselves (or others put it up while I sat inside with a sick baby). I don think it would stand a move however. Think about it this way. It was used for about 10 birthday parties so far for which I did not have to rent a $400 bouncy, magician, singer, etc. It paid us back in spades. RIP!

Oh Emily, so sorry for your loss. I see he will be cremated, and will not go to the Great Hereafter buried in perhaps the same place as
Dusty Manysmallpieces- Dollhouse. They would have liked each other.
Our condolences.

Not to make you crazy or anything, but the couple who bought our old house were very happy that we were leaving the swingset. As long as we're not worried about resale value, you are officially past that stage of parenting. Seriously funny piece, Em.

This is hilarious, Emily, and a reminder to stand my ground when it comes to NOT investing in backyard playground equipment (not that it's much of a choice: our backyard is just a slip of river rock, and not really conducive to anything anyway). To the park around the corner we go!
