OK – as a mother of sisters, the no-shaving thing is not something I can relate to (unless you want to talk about legs). But I have to say the photo of your porch has made my day. Every time I trudge up the front steps I think “Boy do we need to paint this porch!” or, more accurately, “Boy do I need to talk my husband into painting this porch!” I’m so glad that you outed your own peely-paint porch steps so that I relax about mine and know that it’s in good company. Yeah for peer pressure!

OK – Weird. The last time I saw Ian, he was about one year old. All I can remember is trying to get Lindsay’s wedding ring untied from around his neck.
