Bag of rocks - so ridiculous! And yet so mesmerizing to little boys. I thinking a new blog post on "gift shop hell" is in order.

We agree, helps to get out of the house. It is "Ski Week" this week but parents have to work! Kids going to Surf Camp tomorrow. Only in CA can you choose to ski or surf the same day!
We sadly are stil in gift shop hellb and Spencer is attracted to the bags of rocks like I remember Ian choosing when we were vacationing in the Outer Banks.

I love this post, Jennifer! Such a great example of "the simple pleasures." And I'm SO JEALOUS that you got to see Charm City Cakes (my mom owned a bakery, so I love that show!). You are lucky living on the East Coast, in that you can be to a whole other STATE in a matter of minutes (hours? - I don't really know). In the West, it feels like you have to drive SO FAR to "get out of dodge." I like to go to Santa Fe. It's only an hour away, but a whole different world from Albuquerque.
