Thanks for thinking of me in my time of grief over losing Maddie. And the experience has definitely had me thinking a great deal about heaven as well. Jewish, Christian, atheist, agnostic, whatever, I think we'd all like to believe there's something waiting for us after this life. And I'm hoping not only to see all my friends, family, and long lost pets, but also that there will be no technology to distract us from just being together. Off the top of my head: In addition to beloved relatives and friends, my heaven would have pianos that are always in tune, never-ending stacks of great books, magazines and newspapers, excellent comedians, musicians and dancers, and gorgeous gardens and streams.
