		<description>I TOTALLY agree that when it comes to appliances -- or anything mechanical, really -- that simpler is better.  I learned this from my mother, who only ever owned cars with manual everything (I inherited my car from her, a 1994 Saturn -- first model year! -- that has a dial radio, not even a cassette deck, and manual locks).  Her thinking was always:  Less to go wrong and fix down the road.  We hang on to everything until it dies...and then get the sturdy, simple model.  Viva the Old Times!</description>
