Im with you -- close enough is good enough! I'm guessing that math instills fear in 90 percent of all students. I'm having flashbacks to high school now as my kids bring home work that looks oddly familiar. Although I get very proud when I can solve a quadratic equation for one of the boys - its like they think I'm magic. wont last. The math is getting harder.

I am so there with you! My dad is kind of a mechanical engineer. He taught us math and helped us with our homework (or tried to). We started with a chalkboard easel in front of us, and he patiently and calmy asked questions to test our logic. Well my sister and I had none...or very little. The lesson always ended up with him throwing the chalk on the floor yelling, "you can't mix apples and oranges!" It was horrible.

I watched this and I was totally convinced they were stoned to the bejesus belt. Then I saw them on a talk show and realized they are both of that classic type: sweet, pretty, and painfully dumb. They are perfect together if they don't actually set their house on fire and forget how to open a door.
