Wow — What an experience, Jennifer! Your trip to relax and reconnect with your dear friends couldn’t have been more perfectly timed. So good to hear that nature’s wonders can still top man-made ones. It’s important to get outside our own heads once in awhile and measure time between meteor sightings and water laps, instead of the time between text messages. I happened to catch part of that meteor shower, too, on Thursday night. I saw a shooting star that went on and on, the likes of which I’d never seen. You were lucky to be in a place where you could really see it and appreciate it.
