I was so stunned that I showed up with a bag of diapers, one pair of boxer shorts and 2 sports bras. My best friend, whose son was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at age 6, says "Diabetes is the perfect disease for us. We know exactly what medication to give, and when, and how much! There's really very little guesswork." BTW, I first met you at the little radio station near the Granite Run Mall when you were with Preston & Steve. I had my 3 boys with me and you were so wonderful to them, insisting they get milkshakes from the lobby machine and talking to them about boy-centric TV shows. It was immediately obvious to me that you must be a great mom! Glad Matthew is coping well and you have reached a level of can-do acceptance at this point.
