My oldest son says his dad will be the best-dressed man in town when all the boys are grown--that's because they will stop stealing his shirts from his closet and he'll actually have something nice to wear!

I love shopping with my husband! We do it twice a year together, Christmas and around my birthday. We both have fun looking at clothes for each other. I will confess, he has a better eye for clothes for me than I do:)

Lee still has -- and wears -- his college fraternity shirts, ripped grateful dead tshirts, and an old favorite affectionately known as "blue boy" (which I am forbidden from borrowing as a nightshirt lest I put more "wear and tear" on it).

I would love to exorcise my dad of his cowboy boots (I hope he never reads this).

Oh and of course the Suburban Husband would *never* do painting jobs or car repairs with his smart clothes on, he would spontaneously go and change into his old gear or even have professional looking cover-alls to wear...

my dad was pretty good like that, he had "My Going-Out trousers" (this was in UK!), "My Gardening Trousers", "My Painting Trousers", "My Indoors Trousers"... we used to joke that he changed more often than Superman! And often he couldn't be bothered to go upstairs to change, so more than once my best friend walked in and found him putting on his Going-Out Trousers behind the armchair in the sitting room... :-D

my boss and the secretary are totally 80s in a bad, bad way. The sad part is that they are 50 and 25. Too old and too young to have ever really lived the way they dress.

And it's not that they are making a fashion statement, it's just that they don't care to shop anything other than garage sales.
