Awesome job- and great comparison to childbirth. I actually enjoyed my tri more than giving birth, considering that afterwards you get to drink beer vs. hobbling around with an ice pack in your pants. (TMI?)

Be glad you were indoors, Em! I did my first sprint tri of the season in Marblehead, MA on Sunday amongst a field of 300. After the pool swim, the rest was outside in the POURING rain.

It sounds like you’ve caught the tri-bug (not to be confused with the bacteria that lurk in the Schuylkill), and I can’t wait to hear how SheRox goes! Be sure to practice your transitions!!

I’m in for SheRox. Although I’m still coming to terms with jumping into the Schuylkill. Maybe a preventative course of antibiotics will help.
