My husband and I butt heads over what to plant, and since he's the outside man, I usually let him have his way. Our front garden is mostly succulents - aloes and such. We have an above-ground pool in the backyard - and dogs, so there's not much of a garden there. The pool sprung a leak last fall and I was jumping up and down with glee that I could finally have a vegetable garden in the back yard, but my husband decided to resurrect the pool.
