After a crazy travel day involving a 5:30 AM flight to Houston, a mad rush to the next plane to New Mexico, a car rental in Albuquerque, and a long drive through the Navajo Nation and over the border into Colorado, we have arrived in Durango.
As advertised, it’s very snowy and mountainous. Tom and Wendy have an amazing Western house, so different from our East Coast set-up. I have a bad case of lodge envy.
And there are GIRLS here. So now the ratio in the extended family is 6:4, male to female. In this photo are my sister-in-law, her two daughters, and a visiting neighbor, just to help our numbers a bit. Ahhhhh, at long last, parity.
