October is over, with all its attendant thrills.
Now on to November, during which time possibly we should paint our porch steps.
Oh, but also in November, we should all go behind a curtain and pull a level or push a button. I’ll be chauffering people to the polls tomorrow for a couple of hours.
Finally, at our local high school, this is No Shave November. Ian, who is constantly surprising us with a different array of sideburns, mustache and beard configurations, is participating in this fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. He is now clean-shaven for the start of the competition.
